Blair is Managing Partner of Continuity Family Business Consulting, where she works with enterprising families on issues related to succession planning, governance development, and conflict management. An experienced negotiator, mediator, and family business consultant, Blair’s background includes executive posts on Wall Street and in other corporate settings.
Blair is a nationally recognized speaker and has presented at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School, the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate, Cornell University, the Family Firm Institute, and American Bar Association, among others.
Blair co-authored the book Deconstructing Conflict: Understanding Family Business, Shared Wealth and Power, which helps families that share business and other assets become better decision-makers, negotiators, and communicators. She also co-authored the book Mom Always Liked You Best: A Guide for Resolving Family Feuds, Inheritance Battles & Eldercare Crises.
Blair earned an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School, a BA in psychology from Connecticut College, and certificates in negotiation and mediation from the Program on Negotiation at Harvard University. She serves on the boards of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, DeCordova Museum, and Attorneys for Family Held Enterprises.
