Chris McKee is Executive Vice President, Marketing and Sales for McKee Foods of Collegedale, Tennessee. He has been involved in the business as an employee since 1981 and was elected to the board in 2002.
Chris is from the third generation. His experiences include positions in marketing, sales, transportation, purchasing, research and development, production and human resources.
Past civic involvement includes the boards of Memorial Hospital, Southern Adventist University and the Tennessee State Advisory Committee for The Trust for Public Land. He currently chairs the Alexis de Tocqueville Society for the United Way of Greater Chattanooga. Chris has been a member of the Chattanooga Rotary Club since 2007 and is on the Leadership Team of Friends of White Oak Mountain, a community group that built and maintains twenty miles of public trails suitable for mountain biking.
Chris loves exercise especially when it involves mountain biking, road biking or strength training in the company gym with coworkers, family or friends.
His MBA is from Northwestern University; J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Business (’92), and his BBA is from Southern Adventist University (’88).
Chris has been married 32 years to Janel, and has four married children ranging from 23-30 years of age and one grandson. Chris and Janel live in Collegedale, Tennessee at the foot of White Oak Mountain.

Keeping the family together as an economic unit for the long term involves cultivating a stewardship mentality, instilling a work ethic, developing governance systems and teaching the family values. Panelists will share their insights on how building the family’s relationship skills and developing a family education program promotes rational discussions of financial issues such as dividends and risk.
