Victoria Tadewald graduated in May 2019 from the University of Colorado in Boulder where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs specializing in Africa and the Middle East, with a minor in Anthropology.
While pursuing her degree, Victoria studied with Semester at Sea. While circumnavigating the planet on the MS World Explorer, she enjoyed studying new cultures and experiences in: Spain, Ghana, South Africa, India, Myanmar, Vietnam, China, and Japan. Victoria is going on to pursue a Masters in Public Policy with the goal of entering a career in environmental policy.
Victoria is the great grand daughter of Mary Kay Ash, founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics.
In 2013, Victoria’s mother and aunt formed the Golden Rule Family Foundation to honor their Grandmother’s legacy of giving. Victoria, along with other family members, joined the Board and began learning the philanthropic process. Since it’s inception they have made over 1 million dollars in grants to a variety of charitable organizations.
She is a professed foodie and adrenaline junkie and loves traveling to pursue these passions.

Giving money away as a family can be just as stressful as running a family business. Without strong governance, intrafamily disputes and philosophical differences among the extended family can undermine even the best-intentioned philanthropic program. Panelists will describe the systems they’ve established to ensure their charitable giving has broad family support.
